In this Holmdel, NJ residence, YZDA was entrusted with crafting a serene and comfortable suburban retreat for an international couple with active children. The goal of this full renovation was to seamlessly blend eclectic world influences with the refined sophistication of a New York City lifestyle, creating a space that feels both worldly and grounded without relying on fleeting trends. The result is a home that exudes a quiet elegance, where each room tells a story of global inspiration and urban chic.

The design features a cool, neutral color palette that brings a sense of calm and tranquility, accented by rich, dark ebony wood and glass mosaic flooring that add depth and a touch of drama. This combination creates a harmonious balance, evoking a sense of timelessness and stability. The furnishings, from the contrasting white leather beds to the patterned wall coverings and sheer draperies, introduce layers of texture and visual interest, inviting touch and curiosity. Each piece is carefully chosen to contribute to an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and welcoming.

To enhance the relaxing ambiance, YZDA incorporated subtle mood lighting on the ceiling, casting a gentle glow that creates an understated and serene environment—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. すっきりとしたダークフロアリングにモダンな家具、またインテリアの寒色系中間色でバランスをとりました。天井の間接照明はリラックスできる空間を演出し、大きめの窓を入れることで自然光の差し込む明るくて開放感のある空間となりました。
